Demi really enjoys reading in her spare time, I love to see her grab an interesting chapter book from her collection to drown in instead of scrolling through those annoying you tube videos on her iPad. More than that I love to see her grab a book from Dakotas mini collection, pull up a chair and read to her baby sister. This is not something that I force her to do so seeing her take the initiative to be a big sister really melts my heart. I was told the preemies auditory is not ready until they are about 29 weeks old, but we have been reading, talking and singing to Dakota since day 1. If you are in the same situation or know someone who is please encourage them to do the same thing.
